The Still House Sessions thrills whiskey and music lovers alike with a series of monthly shows in one of Tennessee’s premiere distilleries, the Leiper's Fork Distillery. On August 30th we welcome hit songwriters Kent Blazy, Danny Myrick and Phillip White to the Still House Sessions.
Kent Blazy has had cuts by Kenny Chesney, Diamond Rio, Terri Clark, Clay Walker, Patty Loveless, and many others. His first release with Garth Brooks, "If Tomorrow Never Comes," became their first #1 song. His other #1 hits include four Garth Brooks songs, "Somewhere Other Than The Night," "Ain't Goin' Down ('Til the Sun Comes Up)," "It's Midnight Cinderella," and "She's Gonna Make It," and Chris Young's "Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)."
Danny Myrick's musical diversity has lead to cuts by artists ranging from Tim McGraw to Joe Cocker. He has celebrated numerous hit songs, including Craig Morgan’s “International Harvester” Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah” and 2009’s most played country song, “She’s Country” by Jason Aldean. In addition to Billboard Top 5 song “I Love This Life” with LoCash, Danny is enjoying success with Old Southern Moonshine Revival, Maddie & Tae, Gloriana and Dean Alexander.
Phillip White, is an Academy of Country Music award winner and Grammy nominated songwriter that has written songs for some of music's biggest stars, including George Strait, Luke Bryan, Vince Gill, Darius Rucker, Reba, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Jake Owen and Brent Cobb. Among these include the 2003 ACM Song of the Year "I'm Movin' On," the theme song for Reba's self titled hit TV show "I'm A Survivor," and Blake Shelton's "Nobody But Me," all of which became #1 hits.
Tickets are VIP, Reserved and General Admission. VIPs will enjoy a pre-show whiskey tasting, a meet and greet and photo op, up front reserved seats, table service, an autographed show poster, and more. VIP tickets are extremely limited to 26 tickets and are $65. Reserved seating is $50, is limited and guarantees you premium seating. We do not currently allow you to select your seat. You will be seated upon arrival by hostess. Check-in at the front door of the Still House.
Leiper's Fork Distillery along with Sargent's Fine Caterering offers great set-menu, casual pre-performance dinners for $28.50 inside the Still House 2 hours before (usually 6 p.m.) prior to the performances.
Created by Sargent's Fine Caterering, each meal includes entrée (vegetarian option - vegan and other special needs by arrangement), salad, side dish, dessert & coffee/tea. Mixed drinks, soft drinks, and water are available for purchase at our cocktail bar. Sign up and purchase at least 5 days in advance through Leiper's Fork Ticket Office or online.
